SNAP offers nutrition assistance to millions of eligible, low-income individuals and families and provides economic benefits to communities.
Northern RI Residents
The Ocean State Dining Program provides nutritionally balanced, hot lunches served five days a week at more than 75 meal sites for persons who are 60 or older or disabled.
RI Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
The WIC Program provides supplemental foods, nutrition education and referrals to health care, at no cost, to low-income pregnant, breastfeeding and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are determined to be at nutritional risk.
RI Food Bank
The Rhode Island Community Food Bank provides food to people in need and promotes long-term solutions to the problem of hunger.

Pantry is open last two Tuesdays (5:30-7:30pm) and last two Saturdays (10:00-11:00am) each month.
Applications for N. Smithfield residents take place in January & June, with a picture ID AND utility bill. Pantry attendees may visit pantry twice per month.
